Agriculture Information Service (AIS) is a separate institution under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. After the publication of agricultural information agency in 1961, the Agriculture Information Service was renamed to Agriculture Information Service in 1980. Since its inception, the organization has been implementing the rapid expansion program of the grassroots with the help of the media. Headquarter of Agricultural Information Service, located in Farmgate, Dhaka. There are eleven regional offices including Dhaka, Mymensingh, Karmila, Sylhet, Chittagong, Rangamati, Khulna, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Pabna and Barisal, and there are two liaison offices in Thakurgaon and Cox's Bazar.
